Your membership gives you access to purchase medication at our cost. Not a discount off a retail price we set. Our cost.

Nobody here earns a dollar more because you take more medication. Not us, not your provider, not the person who introduced you.

Hair loss

Minoxidil, oral tablets

Minoxidil is a medication first approved by the FDA to treat high blood pressure. At low doses it is prescribed by dermatologists and other clinicians for hair loss. This is an off-label use, which means the FDA has not approved minoxidil tablets for this purpose. Off-label prescribing is legal and common, and the decision rests with your provider.

Your provider will review your health history, your current medications and your blood pressure before deciding whether oral minoxidil is appropriate for you.

Important safety information

Minoxidil tablets carry an FDA boxed warning relating to cardiovascular effects. Your provider will discuss this with you, and the full prescribing information is included with every order.

Tell your provider about any heart condition, any blood pressure medication you take, and any kidney condition. Minoxidil is not appropriate for everyone.

Hair loss

Finasteride, 1 mg tablets

Finasteride 1 mg is FDA-approved to treat male pattern hair loss in men. It is not approved for women and is not for use in women or in anyone under 18.

Your provider will review your health history before deciding whether finasteride is appropriate for you, and may decline to prescribe it.

Important safety information

Women who are pregnant or who may become pregnant should not handle crushed or broken finasteride tablets. The medication can be absorbed through the skin and can cause harm to a male fetus.

Reported side effects include decreased sex drive, difficulty with erection and problems with ejaculation. Some men have reported that these effects continued after they stopped taking the medication. Discuss this with your provider before you start.

Finasteride lowers PSA levels, which can affect prostate cancer screening. Tell any provider treating you that you are taking it.
